Asante Sana to the many friends of the LCL.

Many have stepped forward to help make this important project a reality. From as far away as Hong Kong, individual donors have boxed up gently used and new books and sent them to the collection site in California to await shipment to the DRC. In addition, schools in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston have held book drives, using the occasion to teach American youth about their peers halfway around the world. In addition, the project has been buoyed by the incredible expertise of Cobo Construction and VIA Design Studio of Miami who have generously provided unique and magnificent architectural designs and renderings of what will become the LCL. Below is a list of some of the generous supporters of the LCL.

Over 10,000 books, in many languages, have been collected and are awaiting shipment to the DRC.

The Echo Horizon School community is so proud to support the first public library in the DRC and look forward to seeing the joy of books grow throughout the region.
